MORNING ASSEMBLY:

IS A TRAINING GROUND FOR BEING HUMAN, PATRIOTIC AND A GOOD CITIZEN. CELEBRATION OF DAYS, RECITATION, SPEECHES, DEBATE AND DECLAMATIONS,QUIZ, MELODIES AND OTHER PERFORMING ARTS ARE A BAND OF ACTIVITIES IN THE MORNINGS .

 

HOUSE SYSTEM :

SHIVAJI, TAGORE, ASHOKA AND RAMAN  HOUSE(S) PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES  FOR STUDENTS TO GROW AND DEVELOP THEIR PERSONALITIES THROUGH INTER HOUSE COMPETITIONS.

 

SPORTS AND GAMES :  

SCHOOL HAS ADOPTED BASKETBALL, VOLLEYBALL, HAND BALL, BADMINTON AS

TEAM GAMES. HOUSE-WISE COMPETITIONS ARE ORGANIZED IN THE ADOPTED GAMES ADDITION TO OTHER REGULAR GAMES. ATHLETICS EVENTS PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDIVIDUAL EXCELLENCE .

 

KVS/ALL INDIA COMPETITIONS :  

KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA/CLUSTER/REGIONAL /NATIONAL LEVEL SCIENCE /SOCIAL SCIENCE EXHIBITIONS, SPORTS AND GAMES COMPETITIONS PREPARE STUDENTS FOR ALL INDIA COMPETITIONS WHEREIN KVS PARTICIPATES AS A STATE .

 

 

SPECIAL PROJECTS :

PROJECTS LIKE NEWSPAPER IN EDUCATION WORLD –LINKS COMPUTER EDUCATION; PROFICIENCY IN SPOKEN ENGLISH ; VOCATIONAL SKILLS, LIFE- SKILLS AND  POPULATIONS  EDUCATION AND MATHEMATICS GARDEN INVOLVE STUDENTS FULLY.

 

Maths Garden:

Some children form mental block where maths is concerned. It is treated as a difficult subject where as if the concepts are clear it becomes very interesting and easy to grasp. So we have created maths garden in our school to project geometrical plane figures by making use of brick tiles and flower beds where students move around the garden the visual creates everything impressive. This is just an aid to strengthen the concepts in a attractive manner. it also helps them to recognize there figures in their everyday life outside the classroom also.

We also have Kitchen garden/Herbal garden in our Vidyalaya. Our children are growing some seasonal and medicinal plants. Doing this type of work children are learning the importance of plants in our everyday life.

SCOUTS AND GUIDE , ECO/ ADVENTURE / PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB(S):

 ACTIVITIES FRESHEN UP ALL INVOLVED. CLASS/ SCHOOL MAGAZINES PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR CREATIVE EXPRESSIONS.
